Each product addresses a different need. Physio Gel is formulated with 7 botanical ingredients like arnica and devil’s claw for muscle and joint recovery. PhytoLegs Gel combines 9 ingredients like ginkgo biloba and horse chestnut to promote leg lightness and circulatory wellness. PhytoBody Lotion is a hydrating body lotion with 4 ingredients like rosehip and echinacea to deeply nourish the skin. All three share sweet almond oil as an emollient base.

What is Physio Gel used for?

+

Physio Gel is a muscle and joint recovery gel. Its 7 active botanical ingredients — arnica montana, devil’s claw, St. John’s wort, calendula, menthol, eucalyptus, and sweet almond oil — work synergistically to provide relief and well-being after physical exertion, joint discomfort, or intense activity days. Suitable for daily use.

What is PhytoLegs Gel used for?

+

PhytoLegs Gel is formulated to promote a feeling of lightness in the legs and contribute to circulatory well-being. Its 9 botanical ingredients — ginkgo biloba, witch hazel, horse chestnut, butcher’s broom, bilberry, centella asiatica, menthol, eucalyptus, and sweet almond oil — help relieve the sensation of tired and heavy legs, especially in hot weather or after long days standing.

What is PhytoBody Lotion used for?

+

PhytoBody Lotion is an intensive dermofunctional hydration body lotion. It combines sweet almond oil, echinacea, rosemary, and rosehip to nourish, protect, and revitalize the skin all over the body. Its texture absorbs easily without leaving a greasy feeling, leaving skin soft, luminous, and hydrated.

Can I combine several Phytodoxia products?

+

Yes, all three products are designed to complement each other. You can apply Physio Gel to areas needing recovery, PhytoLegs to your legs, and PhytoBody to the rest of your body. There are no contraindications to using them together. In fact, many of our customers integrate them into their daily body care routine.

Are they safe during pregnancy or breastfeeding?

+

Our products are formulated with natural ingredients and registered in accordance with the European Cosmetics Regulation (EC) No 1223/2009. However, during pregnancy and breastfeeding, we recommend consulting with your doctor or healthcare professional before using any cosmetic product, including ours. This is a general precaution that applies to all cosmetics.

From what age can they be used?

+

Our products are formulated for adults. For those under 16, we recommend consulting with a pediatrician before use. They are not intended for babies or young children.

Do the gels have a strong smell?

+

Physio Gel and PhytoLegs Gel contain menthol and eucalyptus, which provide a fresh sensation and a pleasant, mild herbal aroma. It’s not a medicinal or invasive smell — rather the natural freshness of plants. PhytoBody Lotion has a more neutral and delicate aroma, with subtle notes of rosehip and rosemary.

Do the gels stain clothing?

+

No. Both Physio Gel and PhytoLegs Gel absorb quickly without leaving greasy residue or stains on clothing. PhytoBody Lotion also absorbs easily. We recommend letting the product absorb for a few seconds before getting dressed for optimal results.

Usage & Application 9 questions

How do I apply Physio Gel?

+

Apply a generous amount of Physio Gel to the area needing recovery — muscles, joints, back, neck, knees — and massage with circular movements until absorbed. You can use it before or after physical activity, or whenever you feel the need.

How do I apply PhytoLegs Gel?

+

Apply PhytoLegs Gel to the legs with an upward massage, from ankles to thighs, following the direction of venous return. This gesture promotes circulation and enhances the product’s effect. It’s especially pleasant after a long day or in hot weather.

How do I apply PhytoBody Lotion?

+

Apply PhytoBody Lotion to clean skin all over the body — arms, torso, legs — with a gentle massage until completely absorbed. Ideal after showering, when skin is most receptive. No rinsing needed.

How often can I use the products?

+

All our products are suitable for daily use. You can apply them once or several times a day according to your needs. There’s no risk of overuse with natural ingredients at the cosmetic concentrations in our formulas.

Can I use Physio Gel before exercise?

+

Yes. Many athletes apply it before and after physical activity. Before exercise, the menthol and eucalyptus prepare the area with an activating sensation. Afterwards, the botanical ingredients promote recovery. Physiotherapists also use it as a complement in their sessions.

Can I apply the gels to open wounds?

+

No. Our gels are formulated for use on intact skin. Do not apply them to open wounds, cuts, burns, or mucous membranes. If you have irritated skin or any injury, wait for it to heal before using them.

Are they photosensitizing? Can I use them and then sunbathe?

+

St. John’s wort (present in Physio Gel) can have a photosensitizing effect when taken orally, but its topical use in cosmetic concentrations doesn’t present this problem significantly. Still, as a general precaution, we recommend not applying the product just before prolonged direct sun exposure. PhytoLegs and PhytoBody don’t contain photosensitizing ingredients.

Can they be used together with topical medication?

+

Our products are cosmetics, not medicines. If you’re using any prescribed topical treatment, we recommend leaving an interval of at least 30 minutes between applying the medication and our product, and consulting with your doctor if you have doubts.

How long does a container last?

+

It depends on frequency of use and application area. As approximate reference: Physio Gel 75ml lasts about 2-3 weeks with daily localized use; Physio Gel 200ml, 1-2 months; Physio Gel 500ml, 3-4 months with regular professional use. PhytoLegs 200ml lasts 1-2 months with daily use on both legs. PhytoBody 500ml lasts 2-3 months with daily body use.
